7 DAYS OF PURE JOIE DE VIVRE - YOUR UNFORGETTABLE CRUISE BETWEEN CORSICA AND SARDINIA
DAY 1 FROM BONIFACIO TO LA MADDALENA
Your yachting holiday begins at the southern tip of Corsica in the multi-faceted town of Bonifacio. You will feel the freedom of the island for the first time and marvel at the rugged beauty of nature. Bonifacio welcomes you with a picturesque backdrop of shining white rocks and turquoise water. In the quaint alleys of the harbour town, exclusive restaurants will spoil your palate. After a welcome on board the luxury yacht, your captain heads for the La Maddalena archipelago – the untouched paradise between Corsica and Sardinia. On the crossing, your anticipation increases: anchored luxury yachts adorn the luminous waters and form an incomparable panorama. The Costa Smeralda, a group of islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea on the north coast of Sardinia, is a popular hangout destination for international celebrities. Countless anchorages and bathing bays await you here. Our insider tip: Spiaggia Rose on the island of Budelli. The fine sand appears in delicate shades of pink and lets you immerse yourself in a dreamlike parallel world. When there is no wind, there is hardly anything more beautiful than snorkelling in the crystal-clear sea of the sheltered bays. After a day of swimming and sunbathing, spend a pleasant evening at anchor or in the “hidden harbour” of Poltu Quatu.

Even if saying goodbye to La Maddalena is hard, you have a reason to rejoice: after a hearty breakfast on deck and sun-drenched moments in the morning, you will continue your journey towards Corsica. Your destination is the picturesque capital of the island. With a population of about 64,000, Ajaccio is Corsica’s largest city and a highlight on your cruise. Impressive boulevards, numerous cafés and restaurants as well as cultural sights make your stay multifaceted. You will enjoy the beauty of untouched nature in surrounding forests, deep gorges and spectacular coasts. From the Mole Jetée de la Citadelle you have a beautiful view of the fishing harbour and the lively centre of the city, the Place Foch, where people meet until late at night. In the evening, the restaurants at the harbour will spoil you with traditional specialities.
